The Hunger games vs Twighlight

I'm sure many of  you have heard of The HUNGER games and Twilight. Two exellent movies. People have even started to compare them and say which is best, personallly I like them both.

First let's talk about the hunger games

. This is a thrilling movie. In the  ruins of a place once known as North America lies a nation named Panem, it consist of a capitol surrounded by 12 districs. The capitol is harsh and cruel, in order to keep the districs in line they force them all to send one girl and one boy between the ages 12 to 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games a fight to the death broadcastedon live tv. 16 year old Katniss Everdeen (played by Jenifer Lawrence) decides to take her sisters place in the games. But Katniss has been close to death before and survival is second nature to her. Without really meaning to she becomes a contender. If she is to win she must start making choices that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

The Hunger Games was very sucsessful. It was nominated for best movie in the movie awards. Jenifer Lawrence (plays Katniss Everdeen) won for best female actress and Josh Hutcherson (plays Peeta) won for best male actor.

Next let's talk about the twilight saga

    Bella Swan (Played by Kristan Stewrt) is just a regular 17 year old girl. When she moves to the small town Forks with her father she meets the  Cullens. Bella begins to realize that the Cullen family is quite unusual, they are all incredibly  good looking, have extreamly pale and cold skin and much more. She begins to have a crush on Edward Cullen (played by Robert Pattison) and relizes more about him. Soon this crush developes into a romantic relationship which puts Bella and Edward in danger. But Edward and his family have a secret that will change Bella's life forever.

The Twilight cast was also at the 2012 movie awards for the forth movie called Breaking Dawn part 1. They won for best movie and best kiss! Did you know they have won best kiss 4 times in a row?

Both movies did a great job. Go to guestbook and tell us wich movie was the best. Thank you for reading. The hunger games made more money then the first twighlight movie they broke a record. But all the twighlight saga had more in the box office. So really its a tie because the hunger games still needs to do 3 more movies (Catching fire, mocking jay part 1 and 2) and no one knows how they will turn out and twighlight has not released Breaking Dawn part 2 yet in theaters so you'll have to wait and see who wins.   BY:SOFIA
